Do You Have a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?

Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are the fastest-growing giving method and tax-efficient way to manage charitable donations. Creating a DAF allows you to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time to your favorite charities.

If you want to secure a charitable deduction now but designate beneficiaries later, a donor advised fund may work for you. They can be established with a number of entities, including community foundations, and financial services companies.
